Q: Is ACE Camp an overnight camp?
A: No. ACE Camp is a day camp from 8 am to 5 pm. The ACE Camp program does not have nor provide overnight facilities nor do we provide daily transportation to and from the camp.

Q. I don’t live in the Atlanta area but want to apply for ACE Camp, can ACE Camp pay for my room & board and airfare if I am selected for one of the camps?
A. No. Budget limitations do not allow for ACE Camp Programs to sponsor your room & board nor airfare if selected. However, students are selected for the ACE Camp Programs from all over the country. Once accepted, students have discovered family and friends in the Atlanta area who provided overnight accommodations. Youth who want to attend the ACE Camp from outside of the Atlanta area should discuss room and board options with their family before they apply. We regret that those students who are accepted but are unable to arrange room and board obviously will not be able to attend.

Q: Are the ACE Camps, Flight Line, and Dream Flight really free?
A: Yes, they are sponsored by Delta Air Lines, however, transportation to and from the camps each day is the responsibility of each camp participant.

Q: Is lunch provided and free?
A: Yes, it is sponsored by Delta Air Lines.

Q: If I applied to the ACE Camp Program before and was not selected, can I apply again?
A: Yes, if you still meet all eligibility requirements.

Q: Is there a dress code for the camp?
A: Yes. ACE Camp T-shirts & Cap and khaki shorts or khaki pants are the required uniform each day. Delta Air Lines will provide an ACE Camp T-shirt & Cap to each participant.

Q: If I have other questions who do I contact and how?
A: E-mail additional questions to Captain Guy Stallworth at guystallworth@aol.com. Captain Stallworth is a member of OBAP and is the Delta Air Lines Liaison for the ACE Camp Programs.

Q: If my child turns 14 by the end of the year is he/she eligible for the camp?
A: No. All camp participants must be at least 14 years old at the last day of the camp. There are NO waivers or exceptions to the age requirements.

Q: My transcript/report card only shows letter grades (A-F) or numerical grades (0-100), how do I convert them to a GPA?
A: Just send your most recent transcript/report card and we will do the conversion for you.

Q: Your program is sponsored by The Organization of Black Airline Pilots, is being of color one of the requirements for entrance?
A: No, applications from all races and nationalities are accepted for the ACE Camp.

Q: Where is the ACE Camp held?
A: Delta World Headquarters in Atlanta located just off of Virginia Ave. in East Point, GA.
